Regulating your Nervous System.

Once you recognize that your nervous system is feeling unsettled, the most important step is to address it immediately and begin regulating your nervous system. This practice is one of the most crucial aspects of my routine, no matter how challenging my days may be.

Take a walk

Practice deep breathing

Set aside time for mindfulness meditation

Listen to calming music

Take a break from social media

Allow yourself to have a good cry

Spend quality time with close friends

Go to bed at a regular time

Attend a yoga session

Other helpful activities include cuddling with your pet or joining a gym class, where you can channel your energy into movement and release pent-up stress. Engaging in physical activities not only helps regulate your nervous system but also boosts endorphins, enhancing your mood and providing a sense of accomplishment.

Remember, self-care is not selfish. Taking the time to regulate your nervous system and nurture your well-being allows you to show up fully in life, ready to embrace each day with renewed strength and resilience. By prioritizing these practices, you are investing in a healthier, happier version of yourself, capable of navigating life's challenges with grace and determination.
