The Year it all Changed

Since 2021, I have been a passionate advocate for my health, seeking justice and working towards my own healing. Before that year, I had been managing various medical conditions quite effectively. Hospital visits were a not common occurrence, yet I balanced a full-time job, studies, and the demands of being a busy mom. I was able to drive and enjoyed a social life. However, everything changed in 2021 after I experienced an assault, which has impacted me in countless ways. This incident marked a turning point, revealing the root cause of my ongoing neurological issues. I’ve had to shift my focus from merely surviving to thriving. Despite having substantial evidence, including numerous photos and documented police reports of prior incidents, my attempts to have him charged were met with denial. His words i didnt do it, police disregarded the overwhelming evidence against him. After more than three years, I finally received confirmation from my medical team that this assault is the primary reason for my current health struggles and the way my brain is responding.

The unfortunate truth is that many people have been failed by the systems in place, and I believe it's crucial for change to happen My role is to lend my voice and help others in navigating their way through the shadows, helping them embark on their own paths to healing. I've come to understand that trauma is stored within the body; it can manifest as various medical issues and amplify symptoms. The nervous system and brain have their limits, and when those limits are reached, it becomes essential to focus on your health and confront the unhealed aspects of yourself.
