Avoid Highly Processed Foods

Nutrition has been a focus for me, as I've realized many health issues are linked to our diet. I encountered gut problems due to excessive medication, like ibuprofen and naproxen, which harmed my body. This led to gastritis and a reliance on anti-nausea drugs. With specific conditions like IBS and gluten sensitivity, I had to be mindful of what I eat. Learning more about food contents was eye-opening, prompting a significant dietary change. Eventually, I discovered the benefits of wholefood products, which made a positive impact on my well-being.

When considering your nutrition and diet, it's important to be honest with yourself. It all begins with your shopping cart and the food choices you make. Are you opting for fresh produce or pre-packaged items? Have you checked the ingredients in the foods you consume? Are you choosing takeout out of convenience instead of cooking at home? Take stock of what's in your pantry and fridge, and try not to involve the kids when assessing your eating habits.
