Livng with chronic pain
I'd like to take a moment to share my personal journey with you. Perhaps you'll find something that resonates with you. Or maybe you'd like to have a chat with me and see how I can assist you.
Living with chronic pain is a right royal pain in my butt i dont wish it on anyone, i have suceffully come off all pain medication for 2 months this was guide by my care team, when i was hosptilized due to ongoing headaches etc from myy assult they were convinced it was due to my pain meds and refused to take me serious, so i still have those headaches and every symptom still. I was on 900mg of gabapentin and oter pain pills and to be honest they were doing more damage then helping, years of drs overprescribing me on naproxen and ibrufeon i have gastrities and some serious issues with my digestive system and spent years on medications to help me eat and relive pain there. Its crazy to tink something that suppose to help is can do more harm them good.
To manage my pain effectively, I had to make some significant lifestyle changes, such as developing new habits. I identified key areas that needed an overhaul, including nutrition, exercise, and balancing priorities. It was important to differentiate between necessary and non-essential tasks and make time to rest despite any pending tasks.
Managing chronic pain can be a daunting task, but it is possible to improve the quality of life by making some necessary changes. One of the first things to tackle is your lifestyle. It's important to create new habits that will help you manage your pain effectively.
Nutrition is a key area that needs an overhaul. Eating a healthy and balanced diet can help reduce inflammation and improve overall health. Incorporating more fruits and vegetables, lean protein sources, and healthy fats can make a big difference in managing chronic pain.
Another important aspect is staying active. Exercise can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and boost mood. Starting with gentle activities like walking or yoga, and gradually increasing the intensity and duration can be helpful. It's also important to balance out the must-dos with tasks that can wait and ensure you rest when needed.
I have added whole food products to my life and this has had postitive effect on my overallhealth, my care team are well aware and the progress shows through my bloods, i have no fluid build up in my upper body now and my body seems to be ticking away regardless of the constant reminders that body gives me
