Movement is Healing

You hear the word bed rest and don't get me wrong. Bed rest is great and has its benefits, but actually moving the body has benefits and a great way to heal. Regardless of the pain, Weather from surgery, accident, chronic pain, and injury movement is key.

Living with chronic pain and illnesses like fibromyalgia, a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, as well as fatigue, there is alot going on in my body, part of managing it is through yoga and pilates.

Their is an amazing connection with the mind, body, and soul, and it all intertwines with each other. The connections are like our mood, way we see ourselves, promoting healing, blood circulation, lubricating joints, stretching out the muscles, and mental health. The list is endless

Movement has amazing healing aspects. No matter what movement you're doing, just add it to your daily

Movement is like nutrition


Nutrition has proteins, fats, carbs, vitamins, and minerals, and movement is similar to strength, endurance, balance, and power, just like our diet, ensuring balance in all areas.

Movement has change me and been part of wellness hub and having a yoga teacher that aligns with movement as healing has helped me open my mind and immerse my self into learning and understanding the connections between movement and the body.

The more I learnt about me as person the more I realized how unhealthy I was and how much I was storing,our bodies store stress, trauma in different ways, when the Ole body already in pain etc you automatically go into I need to rest but actually some simple moving can do wonders for you.

Simple living and switching off and becoming more intuned with my body and simply adding movement into my life, my body was a mess, my mental health was wrecked as I been living in flight fight for so long.

My form of movement is through yoga and recently have started reformer pilates and have physio, massage this all part of my care plan and getting this body healthy.
Not about losing weight, not about counting calories, not about starving yourself, not about the quick fix, its hard work, but rewarding as well.
