Beyond Appearances, Why We Shouldn't Judge or Assume
People often rush to judge others, sometimes due to ignorance, while some simply lack kindness. I'm shedding light on the concept of weight and the state of our society, which is still quite flawed. Although there have been improvements, they are minimal at best. As a life coach, I observe the overwhelming focus on weight and the abundance of quick-fix products. Many people spend hundreds of dollars on apps and memberships, only to find they are complete disappointments.
Be honest. When you see someone who is larger, it’s common for many to assume they are unhealthy or overeat. While this might be true for some, it’s essential to consider that there could be other factors at play. Have you thought about this perspective?
My weight has consistently been a struggle; I've faced eating disorders, unhealthy phases, and medications that caused complications. I've dealt with bullying and encountered shitty family and men in my life who have not alleviated my ongoing internal conflict. What people overlook is a crucial factor that i have thyroid thats inactive this aids metabolism, losing weight so guess what it becomes incredibly challenging. Adding endometriosis into the mix makes it feel like I'm eight months pregnant some days, and I also have other issues that impact my eating and digestion.
I stay active even on my toughest days by practicing yoga, taking water walks, and going for a long walk once a week. My eating habits vary; sometimes I eat very little or just small amounts. I've made significant changes to my diet, but the most important factor is maintaining a positive mindset and focusing on healing. When you work on these aspects daily, everything else falls into place—weight loss, happiness, and developing healthy habits for a better lifestyle.
Before jumping to conclusions, remember that what seems most obvious may not truly reflect what’s happening for that person.
While beauty may diminish over time, a person's personality remains ever-present.
