Unwind and Recharge

A Sneak Peek into the Ultimate Women's Retreat of 2024

Ready to break free from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in the ultimate relaxation journey? Join the Women's Retreats in 2024 – a escape to help you relax, recharge, and revitalize your mind, body, and spirit. Being part of my women's group opens up these incredible opportunities, with three retreats scheduled throughout the year. I've just successfully completed the first one, and the ladies are feeling fantastic after this weekend.

What to Expect

Imagine waking up to the delightf singing of birds like tuis and fantails, with a breathtaking sunrise over the lake, surrounded by lush bush and magnificent views This retreat provides a peaceful and serene setting, allowing you to disconnect from the outside world and focus on self-care. Enjoy lakefront views, explore the wonders of Taupo, visit waterfalls, immerse yourself in nature, and relax in healing waters. Took a day trip to Rotorua, stroll through the towering redwoods above ground, have tranquil picnics with crazy ducks and engage in meaningful connections and conversations. Every element of this retreat is thoughtfully put together to help you discover inner peace and harmony.

Unplug and Reconnect

Personally, having experienced chronic illness and living with a brain injury, I understand the value of taking a break from the fast pace of daily life. It is essential to reconnect with nature, regain balance, and allow time for reflection and refocusing. In my experience, women often neglect self-care as we juggle multiple roles daily, prioritizing ourselves at the bottom of the list. Providing an affordable opportunity for women to come together, recharge, reflect, practice self-love, and connect with others is crucial. One of the key aspects of the Women's Retreat is the opportunity to unplug from technology and reconnect with yourself and nature.

A little History

Wairakei Terraces and Thermal Health Spa offer an incredible geothermal walk that showcases the history of the pools and the origin of the water. Flowing from the cooling pond, the water cascades over the waterfall into the Waiora pool. The blue hue is due to the presence of silica and other minerals, known for their use in modern alternative medicines. The Maori community has endorsed the therapeutic properties of these waters for treating skin conditions, arthritis, relieving aches, and promoting relaxation of the mind, body, and soul. Along the walk you find a geyser and a maori village, nestled in bush with the sounds of birds and some cheeky fantails that follow you.

The next Retreat is in September
